Heard in front of the Mayflower Hotel in Washington. A man introducing his wife to another man:
"He was Ambassador to Sweden when I was Ambassador to Denmark."
Ah. Of course.

Ah yes, I think that's when I was the ambassador to Bandar Seri Begawan. Oh right, that's a city, not a country. Fine. Then that's when I was ambassador to the ambassador's MOM. Okay. I need a nap. I'm punchy. Sorry.
