Just walked by DC city hall, where the cars of several council members were parked outside. These included a sharp new Mercedes sports car (at-large seat A, according to the license plate), a sleek new Mercedes sedan (at-large seat D), and a shiny new Sebring convertible. Glad to know they are being well compensated for their service to the city.
To their credit, one member was driving a Honda Accord circa 1994. There is some hope...
